Session 1 OR Session 2- $720 In District / $880 Out of District
BOTH Sessions- $1,300 In District / $1,700 Out of District
Camp t-shirt and daily snack included in fee

About Camp SOAR:

RVSRA’s SOAR Summer Camp offers a unique and inclusive summer experience for teens and adults with special needs, providing a safe, fun, and positive environment where every camper can explore new places and activities, build friendships, and grow in confidence. Camp will be staffed in a 1 staff to 4 participants ratio. (If your participant requires 1:1 assistance, please indicate that on the application.)

Camp Objectives: 
Participants enrolled in Camp SOAR will focus on developing social skills and exploring various forms of recreation.
RVSRA’s Camp SOAR will:
Provide participants with a safe and nurturing environment.
Introduce teens and young adults to a variety of recreation services.
Provide participants with opportunities to increase socialization,self-discovery, and building skills through positive interactions.

Timeline:

March 3rd- 21st: Accepting Camp SOAR applications. Submitting an application does NOT guarantee placement in the camp.
March 31st: Camp placements announced to families via email.
Week of April 28th: Intake Evaluations for all participants will be scheduled. Parents/ guardians are required to attend this 45 minute meeting to discuss expectations and sign required forms.

This year, we’re implementing an application process due to high demand for summer camp spaces and to ensure we can effectively meet the diverse needs of all participants.
